Taking corruption to the next level by making it part of our lifestyles - with no apologies.

For this to have happened - some elements of corruption must have taken place.

My thoughts during this great day of 25th December are focused on Kenya and what we have become collectively.

It was in March 2008 and I vividly recall one of my teachers taking me through  the subject of Karma. “No matter what we think of it, none of us can escape karmic law,” he said and went on,  for it is  universal, timeless, and impersonal. From a mystical point of view, it is the expression of divine justice, as it manifests on the visible and invisible plane of creation. Karma is a law of love that has objective of helping us become conscious of our spiritual  nature and of expressing it in our behavior. “

So many things have happened to our country over the years and makes me wonder –from a human viewpoint, is it possible to place a value judgment on the nature of collective Karma? I would think humanity has its own collective karma. It is, I would think,  the reflection of the past behavior of all humans and represents the level of consciousness that we have collectively achieved.

Why am I bringing the subject of Karma to my country? I have read a few things in the recent past and leave me baffled how and why we do some things on small scale and mostly on large scale. How do we expect to prosper as country if we hate one another and are corrupt to the core?

Sample this experience by Mohammed Warsame in Mombasa County.

PRISON WARDERS REPORTED COLLECTING BRIBES FROM MOMBASA PEDESTRIANS

Incoming reporters say prison warders patrolling Mombasa streets are stopping people for ID check-ups and demanding payment of Sh 500 before letting them go.
Very sad that just as devolution increased the burden on voters with money-guzzling lawmakers on a massive scale, this new system of combined policing by police, APs, prisons, NYS, and KWS personnel will increase further bribe-taking opportunities at the expense of wananchi. We are not going to see increased or enhanced security, but increased bunch of thieves.
Mohamed Warsama

Reported in December in one of the group where am a member.

This is history picture just to remind you. money found with a traffic police.

Another Experience in Eldoret by as reported by Benson Khamala.

ELDORET. A cool place to visit. That is, until you look for parking space. Yesterday while parking along Uganda road, my car was clamped before i could get out. I thought it was a "Ukinaswa" episode as hardly had anyone come to ask for parking fees. The guys sped off in their truck, leaving a "un-clamp" payment voucher on the windscreen. Had to cough the fine at their municipal office, but after venting at one and all in yellow green uniform.

This was reported on 21st December 2014. Happened in Mombasa.

Just thought that I should pass on to you a matter of grave concern. Over the past couple of weeks or so, a guest of ours visiting from Belgium has been stopped and arrested twice, and a bribe demanded for his release. The 1st time, he boarded a tuk tuk from the Bamburi Police Station stage heading for Mtwapa. En-route, the tuk-tuk driver stopped and took on additional passengers. A little further up the road and they were stopped by police. They all got hauled to Mtwapa Police Station and placed under arrest for over-loading. Now our guest is a visitor who barely speaks English and couldn't even understand what he may have done wrong. The police ended up charging him Sh.5000 bail money, but as soon as they released him, the officer in charge of the desk called him aside and demanded the receipt back. Our visitor was just to relieved to be out and didn't argue about it.

2012 sampled data - just to reflect on ...

This is even more crazy as reported by Harshil Gudka in Mombasa. December 16th 2014

do these cops at nyali bridge ave sense? u are stopped u present ur id and then the guy flashes his torch to prove whether u represent the person in id or not, to top it u are told step out of the car and the the guy removes the paper of renewal from the licence displaying the old renewal and then he tells u wot can he do as the licence is not renewed, by this time since u ave not had diner and ur stress has reached its top level you ask the guy to give back the papers of the renewal which he then throws and says oops, u take the papers strewn around and enter the car coz you don't want to end up abusing the "men at work" as u enter the car he stand s in front and tells u boss hatujamlizana, u put the car in D and tell him to stand aside which he refuses and tells u we muindi wa enda wapi, u step on the accelerator and ensure he does not get hit unfortunately the side bumper passes by him and then he says nisamehe boss nimekukosea, by which time you are gone. truly speaking are these the ones who are meant to protect us????

I could go on and on  but the message is clear. As a society we cannot expect better things if this is the collective culture. Don't be cheated – corruption is not in our DNA, it is a choice we have made.

In our own little and able ways - let's reverse this trend that tends to look so normal.

This Is What sound OM looks like

All mystical tradition refer to the divine word, that is the word uttered by God when creating the universe.at the beginning of time. Language is used primarily to express thoughts or emotions and it constitute a mean of communication between people. However, it is believed certain sounds possess a mystical power.

Mantras generally take a form of a word (or words) with a specific meaning that is drawn from a religious text. Their effects are not really based on their intonation, but rather on their repetition. Mantras are generally held in eastern religions. One of the most well-known is OM MANI PADME HUM – which literally means “the jewel within the lotus’ here the jewel symbolizes the wisdom of God, and the lotus the human soul personality.

For Hindus and Buddhist, the word AUM signifies the divine Breath from which emanates all matter, space, and the invisible world. The vowel sound AUM and OM produces the same vocal effect.
There exist a close correspondence between the word AUM and OM, AMEN. Indeed in a liturgical context, all three mean “Through god’s power or” in the name of God.”

In all Vedic text, the sound OM is considered to be a sacred syllable as it represents the word itself, designated in Sanskrit by the name Omkara. For Hindus and Buddhist, the sound represent the unity of GOD and the essence of creation.

It is therefore concluded from a traditional viewpoint, the sound OM is the expression of the omniscient, Omnipresence and Omnipotent of the divinity. It is the representation of the cosmic whole and all that has neither the beginning nor end.

I’m therefore not surprised by the formation of the patterns above in the link.

Tribute to - Achariya Peter, also known as Swami Shankarananda

At 10:40 am Monday, November 24th, he left the body peacefully, with total stillness and purity of heart and consciousness. Every breath of his process, he remained totally intact, completely himself, outrageously good-humored, joyful and loving, an expression of pure devotion. And now that he has left the body, he is even more totally intact, completely himself, outrageously good-humored, joyful and loving, an expression of pure devotion. He is so purely with us and within us.

Our beloved teacher did not focus on the past. He lived (and continues to live!) totally in the present, in bliss, in joy, in blessing. Nonetheless, he did mention biographical details to devotees over the years, enabling us to share the following.

He reminded me "I and the Father are one" - "what I do you can also do".. we have been created in the image of God. What is more.. Swami found joy and beauty in everyone and everything! My gratitude for his presence in my life knows no bounds.

I am outside the entrance of Divine Life Church of Baltimore - USA.

In The Beginning was The Word..

I have chosen to tell my story…

Six years ago after reading a certain book based on ancient text, I bumped into a page that described the power of the words and the energy sounds and certain words combined together can generate. I said to myself – no!no – you must be kidding.. I decided to try – after all two things were likely to happen – get results and move on, or discover something new.

I chanted the combination of vowels that to me were meaning less – if anything, are commonly uttered by toddlers before they learn to speak our organized languages.
The results were mind blowing..

After a few minutes of continuous chanting, my entire body in its horizontal position started to vibrate to a point of rising up slightly above bed.. I made conscious decision to stop..
I shared my experience with a good friend of mine Dr. Pattani who practices medicine in Mombasa and he was not surprised. He however warned me not to try without professional supervision as it could affect my general energy flows.

I have for many years there after pried into any information that can explain the power of words.

What has come out clear is that, chanting is an excellent and ancient way to transform vibrations, energize chakras, and raise body, mind, and spirit into the Presence of God. It is a chief method of raising consciousness in both Buddhism and Hinduism as I know it. What is coming out very clear lately,  Gregorian chanting has seen a revival in Western culture and is commonly being practiced in churches.

Little do people realise that chanting of mantras is widespread in other religions as well. Islam, for one, greatly stresses on chanting of mantras to attain prosperity, wealth, health and peace of mind. In Islam, there are 99 names through which Allah [God] is recognised. Reciting various names, as mantras, is believed to be the best way to attain spiritual growth, satisfaction, purification and rejuvenation.

How does it work?
From what I have gathered - Our body is made up of vibrating energies and is comprised of cells that move in unison. When the natural movement and rhythm of these cells is disturbed; diseases and disorders crop up. Our cells respond to the chant [sound] within our bodies and vibrate to restore the harmony back. It also resonates with the chakra system, activates the flow of subtle energies, uplifts mood, balances the mind and, in effect, leads to a state of blissful joy.

Everything in the universe is pulsating and vibrating – nothing is really standing still! For example, the sound Om, when chanted, vibrates at the frequency of 432 Hz, which is the same vibrational frequency found throughout everything in nature.

For thousands of years, singing or chanting has been one of the most powerful spiritual practices for life transformation. Singing or chanting a mantra of a high level spiritual being carries the power of that being. It really is very simple. It may be too simple to believe.
In addition the vibrations and rhythmic pronunciation also have a physical affect on the body by slowing down the nervous system and calming the mind similar to meditation. When the mind is relaxed, your blood pressure decreases and ultimately the health of your heart improves.

Recently I bumped into a most amazing detailed accounts based on South Africa Kraals.

Until recently as late 2007, it was generally accepted by scholars that there are about 20,000 ancient stone ruins scattered throughout the mountains of southern Africa. Modern historians have been speculating about the origins of these ruins, often calling them “cattle kraal of little historic importance”. The truth of the matter is that closer scientific inspection paints a completely different and astonishing new picture about the ancient history of these stone ruins. The scientific reality is that we actually know very little about these spectacular ancient ruins and it is a great tragedy that thousands have already been destroyed, and continue to be destroyed through sheer ignorance by power lines, forestry, municipalities, farmers and new housing developments.

A small section of the ancient energy grid that stretches more than 450,000 km square linked by the ancient channels that can be clearly seen from the air. This kind detail is not at all visible to observers on the ground.

It is important to note that the mysterious ruins of southern Africa, which include Great Zimbabwe and millions of similar ruins in that country, also extend into neighbouring areas like Botswana, Namibia, Zambia, and Mozambique. But why were these ancient people here in the first place? What were they doing?

It gets interesting -  Sumeria and Abantu:
The links to the Sumerian civilisation in southern Africa simply cannot be ignored or erased. They can even be traced with etymology in the names and origins of indigenous people. The most obvious evidence are the mysterious origins of the word “Abantu”, the name commonly used to describe black South Africans. According to Credo Mutwa, the name is derived from the Sumerian goddess Antu. “Abantu” simply means the children or people of Antu.

Scholars have told us that the first civilisation on Earth emerged in a land called Sumer some 6000 years ago. The persistent research by South Africans Michael Tellinger, Johan Heine and a team of leading scientists, over an extend seven-year period, has resulted in astonishing new archaeological and scientific discoveries. It shows that the Sumerians and even the Egyptians inherited all their knowledge from an earlier advanced civilisation that lived at the southern tip of Africa more than 200,000 years ago… mining gold.

Extensive electronic measurements in 2011 have shown that the circular stone ruins are in fact energy generating devices, using the natural sound that emanates from the surface of the Earth, creating electromagnetic fields as a result of the sound amplification. The shape of the circular ruins are all very specific and unique because each circle represents the cymatic pattern of the sound energy as it appears on the surface of the earth at that point. This energy was amplified by a simple understanding of harmonics and utilised in the same way that we generate LASER and SASER beam technology today. Giant magnetron-shaped structures suggest that this was well understood by the ancients. Measurements have been conducted of  these spectacular energies and electromagnetic waves and therefore experts do not hesitate to make these claims. Some of the sound frequencies go into the extremely high Giga hertz levels (over 380 Giga hertz) which are unheard of on Earth today in any normal application.

The fact that these circles are all connected by the stone channels makes it very clear to any scientist who works with electricity or energy that the stone circle complex is a giant energy generating grid that was most likely used in the mining and processing of gold on a scale unimaginable to us today.

These were also the people who carved the first Horus bird, the first Sphinx, built the first pyramids and built an accurate stone calendar right in the heart of it all. Adam’s Calendar is the flagship among millions of circular stone ruins, ancient roads, agricultural terraces and thousands of ancient mines, left behind by a vanished civilisation which they now call the FIRST PEOPLE. These were the ancestors of all humans today with an advanced knowledge of energy fields through planet Earth.

Sounds can create and levitate.

Sounds can create levitation - watch this..

Watch this one too.

Unless you travel into the vacuum of space, sound is all around you every day. But most of the time, you probably don't think of it as a physical presence. You hear sounds; you don't touch them. The only exceptions may be loud nightclubs, cars with window-rattling speakers and ultrasound machines that pulverize kidney stones. But even then, you most likely don't think of what you feel as sound itself, but as the vibrations that sound creates in other objects.

The idea that something so intangible can lift objects can seem unbelievable, but it's a real phenomenon. Acoustic levitation takes advantage of the properties of sound to cause solids, liquids and heavy gases to float. The process can take place in normal or reduced gravity. In other words, sound can levitate objects on Earth or in gas-filled enclosures in space.

This is an acoustic levitation chamber I designed and built in 1987 as a micro-gravity experiment for NASA related subject matter.
The 12 inch cubed plexiglas Helmholtz Resonant Cavity has 3 speakers attached to the cube by aluminium acoustic waveguides.

By applying a continuous resonant(600Hertz) sound wave, and by adjusting the amplitude and phase relationship amongst the 3 speakers; I was able to control levitation and movement in all 3 (x,y,z) axis of the ambient space.

This research was used to show the effects of micro-gravity conditions that exist in the space shuttle environment in orbit, but done here on Earth in a lab.

Try this ..

The fact that I had a personal though brief levitation in a horizontal position was mind blowing.. there is so much in life we do know know.. though brief, life is an amazing experience.
